Excitant, sialagogue, révulsif, stomachique, digestif, laxatif, antiseptique, hémostatique.

1 - Leucorrhée ou blennorragie récente. Boire un verre de cognac assaisonné de piment puis manger du sosoa 2 - Morsure de l'Araignée Tarabiby: Piment et décoction de Tambiletsy (Psorospermum androsaemifolium Bak.) en potion 3 - Névralgie aiguë : torréfier les feuilles d'Andranzina et du piment. Préparer avec ce mélange une boisson et un topique. 4 - Angine ulcéreuse, enrouement, chute de la luette. Gargarisme avec poudre de piment, 4 g, sel, 4 g, eau 180 g, infuser, refroidir et ajouter 150 g de vinaigre. 5 - Constipation habituelle, anorexie : prendre avec les aliments un petit piment vert 6 - Hémorragie utérine d'origine tumorale, endométrite granuleuse, épithélioma, 10 g de poudre après chaque repas 7 - Gale : écraser des piments et y ajouter de la suie, délayer avec le suc d'Emilea graminea, chauffer le mélange et frictionner avec, aussi chaud que possible (HECKEL, 1910).
